She discusses the process of developing the guidelines and highlights some of what’s new, such as new, limited evidence about the role of a patient’s diet in acne. In addition, she reviews new topicals and how fixed combination drugs help increase efficacy and compliance, as well as new drugs on the horizon that may be able to reduce sebum.
